 Coaching family prosperity --

  Professionally, diligently, tirelessly. . . .

Investment portfolio design**

Strategic asset allocation to provide growth and income suitable to your needs and risk assessment, properly diversified against market vagaries.

Asset and income protection strategies**

Protection for yourself and family in the event of death, disability, disease, layoff, or forced early retirement.

Segmented financial plans

A segmented plan focuses on a single issue, such as retirement income. Such plans are seldom recommended, as all components of a financial plan interact, just as your life does.

Retirement income plans have also been given a bad name by fund floggers who provide colourful and graphic illustrations of your needs after a ten minute interview. Such illustrations are usually inaccurate, improperly applying tax and government benefits, and generally fail to account for your lifestyle aspirations.

Refer to a fully comprehensive plan for fuller detail on segments often included in plan documents.

Quarterly newsletter

Themes alternate among planning strategies: tax, investment, and protection. (This is the priority list resulting from a 2001 client and customer survey.) A light story-telling approach is maintained. For an example, see the 2003 New Year's issue.

To subscribe, .

If you'd prefer it sent electronically, that choice is available through use of the form found at the end of the button click.

And, now, for a third option (Don't you just love choice?), as suggested by Robyn Liseth: If you're currently receiving the newsletter by regular mail, but figure that's an archaic waste of valuable resources and would rather receive it electronically, use the form buttoned above to unsubscribe to Newsletter by mail, then check subscribe to Newsletter by email. Simple, yes?

*SMALL PRINT:
**MORE SMALL PRINT: For most folks the distinction is meaningless at best, intrusive and mindless verbiage inflicted upon the civilized by federal and provincial bureaucrat regulators at worst. . . but the distinction, nonetheless, (John's been reading too much John Kenneth Galbraith lately) need be made: Individuals who subscribe to these services alone (i.e., outside of a comprehensive plan) are customers, not clients, and John's capacity is advisor, not professional financial planner. There, done.
